Dr. Hattaway interned at an outreach clinic in Marietta, Georgia, that gave care to the underpriviledged and at a clinic in Woodstock, Georgia. After graduation, Dr. Hattaway and fellow colleague, Dr. Forrest Miles, decided that with the passion that they shared for the profession and for helping others, they would build a practice that focused on structural correction. Dr. Hattaway and Dr. Miles decided to move to Columbus, Georgia, to open their own office. Dr. Hattaway and his wife, MacKenzie, have always wanted to move closer to home, and due to the amount of family support they have in Columbus, it seemed like a perfect fit!
Dr. Forrest Miles
Dr. Forrest Miles first developed an interest in becoming a chiropractor at the age of twelve after seeing chiropractic help his mother recover from a debilitating back injury. This interest blossomed into a career decision after he did a school project on chiropractic, and discovered chiropractic is not limited to helping people with back complaints. He discovered during this project that chiropractic care has helped people overcome a wide variety of health issues from extremity complaints to headaches and ear infections.
After graduating high school, Dr. Forrest Miles attended Middle Tennessee State University and received his Bachelors in Science. Immediately following his undergraduate degree he attended Chiropractic College at Life University in Marietta, Georgia, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in Chiropractic school, Dr. Miles took an interest in how the structure of the spine determines the function of the individual. His interest and passion for this concept was shared with fellow colleague, Dr. Jack Hattaway. The two developed a protocol of analysis that uses proven indicators to identify the primary structural shift, which is the underlying cause of many secondary conditions. Dr. Forrest Miles interned at a community outreach clinic for underprivlieged families in the Metro Atlanta area before deciding to move back to his hometown of Dyersburg, Tennessee, to work with his Chiropractic mentor. After gaining knowledge and experience from these two rewarding opportunities, Dr. Miles decided go into practice with Dr. Jack Hattaway in the City of Columbus.
